Footy legends Brian Rosenbrock and mates reminiscing about 3 consecutive premierships in 1966, 1967 and 1968

Three Premierships and a Lifetime of Memories

Some memories never fade, and for this group of gentlemen, the bonds forged on the football field are as strong as ever. These local legends make the trip to Seymour Club two to three times a year to catch up and reminisce about their footy days – and what days they were.

The group shares a remarkable piece of local sporting history: three consecutive premiership wins in 1966, 1967 and 1968. That kind of achievement doesn’t happen by accident, and it’s no surprise these blokes still find their way back together decades later to relive those incredible moments.

A Special Tribute to Brian Rosenbrock

A special mention goes to Brian Rosenbrock, who served as captain and coach for all three premiership-winning seasons. Leading a team to back-to-back-to-back premierships is an extraordinary feat, and Brian’s contribution to local football history deserves to be celebrated.

It’s moments like these that remind us of the important role a club plays in a community – not just as a venue, but as a place where stories are shared, friendships are renewed, and history is honoured. We’re proud that Seymour Club gets to be part of this tradition.
